How Can You Get Involved?

Getting involved with Engineers Without Borders is a great opportunity to be part of a team committed to creating change. From the most exciting leadership roles, to drop-in style learning workshops, there are many different ways to experience EWB.

Volunteer as a Director
Whether you're looking to learn more about international development, be part of a team, buff up your resume, create social change or just have fun, volunteering as an EWB director is a great experience. Most directorship roles are extremely flexible and require a commitment of less than five hours a week.

EWB Presents...
EWB Presents... is a bi-weekly educational session. Every second Tuesday during the winter term, EWB covers a topic related to poverty, social responsibility or development.

Discussion Groups
Do you thrive on debate and discussion? Do you like learning in an informal environment? Discussion Groups are an opportunity to debate and discuss different topics every week.

Online Involvement
EWB chapters run a number of vibrant online portals to keep the general public informed about development issues world-wide. The advantages of these portals is that information is available 24/7 and only a few clicks away.

Going Overseas
Are you self motivated and flexible? Always wanted to be an agent for change on the international development stage and have the opportunity to have real impact in Africa and on Canadians at home? Volunteering overseas with EWB might be the right choice for you.
